Honoured to Share Knowledge on BESS with the Energy Commission

Grateful for the opportunity to be invited by the Energy Commission (ST) to share knowledge on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and discuss the latest guidelines related to BESS implementation.

The session was originally planned for a maximum of 30 participants, but the response exceeded expectations with 36 attendees. Most participants were professionals from the electrical industry and competent persons, making the discussions highly engaging and insightful.

The session covered a wide range of topics, including technical considerations, the latest BESS guidelines, and discussions on upcoming BESS projects that participants are planning to implement.

Looking ahead, the Energy Commission has also invited us to collaborate with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to conduct a BESS training programme. The next step will be to develop a comprehensive training module that meets industry needs and supports the advancement of BESS knowledge in Malaysia.
