Three Productive Days in China for BESS Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

A productive three-day Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in China with industry representatives from Kuala Lumpur and Pahang. Our objective was to ensure that the Energy Management System (EMS) for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) performs exactly as required, enabling the industry to achieve the full benefits of BESS deployment.

15 June 2026 – Shanghai

Arrived in Shanghai at 6:00 a.m. and headed directly to the factory.

Conducted an initial inspection of the BESS and identified several areas for improvement.

The day concluded at around 4:00 p.m. after a full day of technical review.

16 June 2026

FAT activities began at 8:00 a.m. together with industry representatives.

During testing, the EMS had not yet successfully met all six operational scenarios.

The engineering team worked late into the night implementing the improvements and corrections based on our feedback.

17 June 2026

Testing resumed at 7:30 a.m.

All six operational scenarios were successfully simulated, and the EMS performed as expected.

With the FAT successfully completed, we headed directly to the airport and returned to Malaysia.
